Wir Rudernden sind regelmäßig auf großen Flüssen und auf dem Mittelmeer oder der Nord- und Ostsee im Boot unterwegs- freiwillig, aus freien Stücken und rein zu unserem Vergnügen. Immer wieder kommt ein Ruderboot in Not und die Insassen werden mit großem Aufgebot von Wasserschutzpolizei, DLRG, Feuerwehr und nicht selten auch Hubschraubern gerettet.
Währenddessen setzen andere Menschen ihr Leben aufs Spiel, weil sie in ihren Herkunftsländern verfolgt oder bedroht werden oder keine Chancen auf ein selbstbestimmtes Leben haben.
Deshalb habe ich es mir zur Gewohnheit gemacht, jedesmal an Sea-Eye zu spenden, wenn wieder mal ein Ruderboot samt Besatzung gerettet werden musste.
Hier der Aufruf an alle Ruder- und Kanufahrenden: spendet 10 Cent pro gerudertem/gepaddelten Kilometer für SeaEye !
Und wer nicht regelmäßig auf dem Wasser unterwegs ist, darf sich trotzdem beteiligen!

Your donation saves lives. It goes directly to Sea-Eye e.V., an organisation for civil sea rescue. Sea rescue is still carried by civil society. Sea-Eye goes where Europe looks away and closes itself off. Every euro helps us run missions, protect lives and make the humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean visible.
No. Listing your campaign and using the provided texts, image material and other resources is free of charge. Costs may arise from your own activity itself. We cannot reimburse or pre-finance the organisation or implementation of your fundraising campaign. Small donations are also very welcome. If you first cover your own expenses, such as a flea-market stall fee, and then donate the remaining proceeds or part of them, that is great too. To generate more donations, we recommend displaying the Sea-Eye x YOU posters at your activity and telling people about your campaign.
