die Bilder und Nachrichten aus dem Mittelmeer lassen mich nicht los. So viele Menschen wie noch nie zu diesem Zeitpunkt eines Jahres sind dort gestorben oder werden vermisst.
Hinter jeder Zahl stehen Menschen mit Familien, Hoffnungen und einer Geschichte. Menschen, die Schutz gesucht haben und deren Leben im Mittelmeer endete.
Ich finde, wir dürfen uns daran nicht gewöhnen. Humanität endet nicht an Europas Außengrenzen. Europa muss sichere Fluchtrouten schaffen und seiner Verantwortung gerecht werden. Solange das nicht geschieht, bleibt die zivile Seenotrettung unverzichtbar.
Deshalb habe ich diese Spendenaktion gestartet. Mit ihr möchte ich die Menschen unterstützen, die dorthin fahren, wo andere wegsehen, und die alles dafür tun, Menschenleben zu retten.
Ich freue mich über jede Spende unabhängig von ihrer Höhe. Und auch das Teilen dieser Aktion hilft.

Your donation saves lives. It goes directly to Sea-Eye e.V., an organisation for civil sea rescue. Sea rescue is still carried by civil society. Sea-Eye goes where Europe looks away and closes itself off. Every euro helps us run missions, protect lives and make the humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean visible.
No. Listing your campaign and using the provided texts, image material and other resources is free of charge. Costs may arise from your own activity itself. We cannot reimburse or pre-finance the organisation or implementation of your fundraising campaign. Small donations are also very welcome. If you first cover your own expenses, such as a flea-market stall fee, and then donate the remaining proceeds or part of them, that is great too. To generate more donations, we recommend displaying the Sea-Eye x YOU posters at your activity and telling people about your campaign.
