Seit mittlerweile fünf Jahren bin ich für Sea-Eye aktiv. Als Teil der Landcrew bin ich unterwegs auf Infoveranstaltungen, Filmvorführungen, Konzerten, Festivals oder Demos. Sowohl in München als auch in Bremen hab ich so die coolsten Leute kennen gelernt und immer wieder nen riesen Spaß bei Aktionen.
Und doch kommt bei mir häufig die Frage auf, was das alles eigentlich bringt?! Früher waren die Schiffe 10-12x im Jahr unterwegs, heute gerade mal die Hälfte.
Das liegt an rechtswidrigen Behinderungen von Regierungen, die auch von Gerichten bestätigt werden. Und daran, dass die EU lybische Milizen unterstützt, die in letzter Zeit sogar auf Menschen und Schiffe der NGOs geschossen haben. Und auch daran, dass einfach zu wenig Geld vorhanden ist, um Missionen zu starten.
Deswegen ist es umso wichtiger diese Arbeit zu unterstützen. Schenkt mir dieses Jahr bitte keine Geschenke, sondern spendet reichlich. Auch, wenn du mir vielleicht gar nix geschenkt hättest :)

No. Listing your campaign and using the provided texts, image material and other resources is free of charge. Costs may arise from your own activity itself. We cannot reimburse or pre-finance the organisation or implementation of your fundraising campaign. Small donations are also very welcome. If you first cover your own expenses, such as a flea-market stall fee, and then donate the remaining proceeds or part of them, that is great too. To generate more donations, we recommend displaying the Sea-Eye x YOU posters at your activity and telling people about your campaign.
