Während Du diese Zeilen liest, sind Menschen auf der Flucht auf dem Mittelmeer unterwegs – in überfüllten, oft kaum seetüchtigen Booten. Viele fliehen vor Krieg, Verfolgung, Hunger oder existenzieller Not. Für sie ist das Meer kein Urlaubsort, sondern der gefährlichste Abschnitt ihrer Flucht.
Seenotrettung rettet Leben. Punkt.
Wenn Boote kentern oder in Seenot geraten, zählt jede Minute. Rettungsschiffe sind oft die einzige Hoffnung für Menschen, die sonst keine Chance hätten. Doch diese Einsätze kosten Geld – für Treibstoff, medizinische Versorgung, Rettungsausrüstung und den Betrieb der Schiffe.
Mit Deiner Spende hilfst Du dabei, Leben zu retten. Jeder Beitrag – ob 1, 5, 20 oder 50 Euro – kann einen Unterschied machen.

Your donation saves lives. It goes directly to Sea-Eye e.V., an organisation for civil sea rescue. Sea rescue is still carried by civil society. Sea-Eye goes where Europe looks away and closes itself off. Every euro helps us run missions, protect lives and make the humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean visible.
No. Listing your campaign and using the provided texts, image material and other resources is free of charge. Costs may arise from your own activity itself. We cannot reimburse or pre-finance the organisation or implementation of your fundraising campaign. Small donations are also very welcome. If you first cover your own expenses, such as a flea-market stall fee, and then donate the remaining proceeds or part of them, that is great too. To generate more donations, we recommend displaying the Sea-Eye x YOU posters at your activity and telling people about your campaign.
