An der Festung Europa enden jedes Jahr unzählige Leben. Die Leben von Menschen, deren Verzweiflung sie auf tödliche Fluchtrouten führt, weil es auf sicheren Wegen nicht geht. Die in der Hoffnung auf ein besseres Leben ihre Heimat verlassen haben, nur um dann – wenn sie die Flucht überleben – zur Gefahr erklärt und gegen die autochthone Bevölkerung ausgespielt zu werden. Menschen, die aufgeteilt werden in verwertbares und nicht verwertbares Menschenmaterial für den Arbeitsmarkt, deren Menschsein selbst nicht ausreicht, um ihr Leben zu schützen, während Leitmedien die Notwendigkeit ihrer Rettung vor dem Ertrinken diskutieren.
Während Europa und damit auch Deutschland sich auf verschiedentliche Weise verantwortlich zeichnen für Entmenschlichung, Vertreibung und Flucht, von Flüchtenden und der Rettung ihrer Leben aber nichts wissen wollen, rettet die Sea-Eye Menschen vor dem Ertrinken. Das kostet Geld – viel davon. Auf die Frage, ob man ihre Kampagne unterstützen will, kann es deshalb nur eine Antwort geben.
Lasst uns helfen und zeigen, dass sich die Klasse nicht spalten lässt, dass Solidarität die Losung bleiben muss, und, dass niemand vergessen wird.
Das Spendenziel liegt bei 500 Euro – ich wäre euch unendlich dankbar, wenn ihr euch beteiligt, ganz egal, wie groß oder klein die Spende.

Your donation saves lives. It goes directly to Sea-Eye e.V., an organisation for civil sea rescue. Sea rescue is still carried by civil society. Sea-Eye goes where Europe looks away and closes itself off. Every euro helps us run missions, protect lives and make the humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean visible.
No. Listing your campaign and using the provided texts, image material and other resources is free of charge. Costs may arise from your own activity itself. We cannot reimburse or pre-finance the organisation or implementation of your fundraising campaign. Small donations are also very welcome. If you first cover your own expenses, such as a flea-market stall fee, and then donate the remaining proceeds or part of them, that is great too. To generate more donations, we recommend displaying the Sea-Eye x YOU posters at your activity and telling people about your campaign.
